Where there is light, there is hope

Shot a couple of hours ago, and dedicated to a lovely young lady who at 44, sometimes feels like she's 125! Hope this brightens your day a little

    Absolutely stunning.

Perfect light, perfect exposure and the wide crop really suits the subject.

    Thanks Robin,

As usual, it wasn't the shot I'd planned, but isn't that always the case!

That's gorgeous, Colin. I'm assuming since you are in NZ that was sunset? Try? You deliver. Absolutely beautiful.

    Thanks Mary,

Yes - a sunset. We've been getting a few of the "lingering orange glow" variety recently - not sure what causes them - and it's hard to predict them, but I just try to position myself some place interesting when I think they're likely to occur. To be honest, they're not particularly hard to do, just don't tell anyone!

I think my biggest problem is that I worry that people will get bored if I do them too often!

Kids. At my house, I get the text or FB message, 'I love you, Momma'. At first my heart swells and I picture college boy's sweet face... I respond, 'I love you, too, Max. Do you need something?'

Stunning Colin, a really beautiful landscape. That light is hardly perceptible but it adds a story/mystery to the whole thing.

Very nice shot. How can we get bored with them. They are all different.
