It snowed last Saturday (day before Easter), Mary. I mean, the whole world was WHITE. But, it melted and things were greener underneath. Tues and Wed were warm with summery thunderstorms. Talk about the weather....

Okay... I can see them now that you said that. I'm sorry I missed it. Virginia is so much different than NH. It's humid a lot... my hair does not agree with this... I'm trying to embrace the curl but so far no luck.I bought a sample size antiperspirant to keep in my purse... but, I think I only wore my white Keds once... it's just flip flops and capris. We are 3 houses off the ocean so that has been a treat even if the house is haunted.
We'll have room for visitors... come for a girls weekend. We can laugh, talk, walk with the sand between our toes and laugh some more.

That's beautiful.
It's got the most amazing dreamlike/abstract quality which is added to by the idea that's there's a world way back there through the trees and out the other side. The light on the branches at the back just lift the whole thing up, in my opinion.
I suppose it's very subjective and personal, but I love it.
The only thing I'd change is that I'd clone out that very bright bit right at the top just to the right of centre.
Donald! You're a champ! You've hit right on what I was wondering about - the kind of "tunnel" through the trees. I wasn't sure if the background was kind of distracting or if it added. You like it for the same reasons that I do; so, those great minds are thinking alike again.... I'm so glad that I don't completely imagine these things.
And, do you mean the glare on the branch at the top of the frame?
I'm still interested in anyone else's C&C.
Look's very nice, considering the other "creatures" that call the swamp home.
Nice pic.![]()
