Help needed exporting from Lightroom

I use Adobe Lightroom 3 to work on my photos. When I follow the steps to post a photo, I can't find the cropped/edited photo, but only the original, uncropped photo. Can anyone help with this? If you can, please reply with as much detail as you can and presume nothing but massive, almost incorrigible ingnorance on my part. E.g., if I should right click or left click, please indicate that instead of only indicating that I should click on an image or text. I am eager to join this community.

On the develop module of Lightroom when you right-click on the image that you are working, you will select EXPORT then EXPORT again. This will open a new window. On the export location > Export to option, try to select "Export to same folder as original photo." In this way, you are putting the original and the edited file at the same window folder on your hard drive. On the file naming option, Check the box "Rename to:" and then select the option that best suits your preference. In my case, I always set it to "Filename -sequence" so that everytime I edit an image it will add a number after the filename for easy recognition for me. Hope this helps.

Hi Matt,

Have a crack at "getting this bigger" ...

1. Click on it to open it

2. Right-click on it and choose properties

3. Highlight the URL in the property sheet, and copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl + C)

4. Close the image

5. Click EDIT to edit your post

6. Put the cursor where you want the image

7. Click the insert Image button

8. Paste the URL into the box that pops up (Ctrl + V)

9. Click save

Damn, that's beautiful. You make me look good. How did you do it? Can I enter this in the April competition? I just submitted something for the mini monochrome. How did you do the matting, the shadowing, the copyright symbol? Is all of that in L3? This is going to be fun! Thanks much. Matt
