I respect all the crop more or go wider view points, and reading the replies en masse, there are clearly people that think one thing and those that don't!
FWIW, I think that with a shot like this, the 'pass / fail' is whether or not it serves to demonstrate an everyday moment, indicative of human nature, yet preserved in a photograph (which I guess is as good as description of street as any), but that said we are all fairly committed these days to critiquing every image, from corner to corner, and I'm not complaining about it, because knowing what people look at and look for in shots is very enlightening, so thank you all very much (especially those of you that liked it as is, I'm just kidding, it's all welcome!

I posted this in a street critque group on Flickr, and two people picked me up for (and I quote) 'adding fake film grain' it's a bus stop, so it's
clucking frosted glass... Idiots.
