I was poking around on a rainy day and found this from a couple years ago It was taken in the early morning against a deep shadowy background.

When I see one of this in my garden, I always thought I want to photograph it, but then I wait...and wait...and soon the season of them were all gone. Now I have to wait another season to see them again and annoy hubby's pleas to allow him to poison them and I kept saying, no -- I want to photograph them first, which of course never happened... Anyway, this is a good simple shot...and kept thinking how much nicer would it be if you put a reflector on the right side to show all of this, but then the mysteries of the right side wouldn't be there if you did...very dramatic...

It reminds me of the way the sun shines on the moon.

Thanks Nandakumar, I couldn't tell you right off as it was taken about a year ago. I will try to remember to look when I get into my laptop later.
