Speaking for myself, most of my photos contain some kind of work in photoshop. Mostly color correction, and some contrast. Nothing too dramatic. I think sometimes people tend to over do the post processing and their photos look fake and unbelievable.

I photographed these about 2 years ago. As I was doing some Photoshop work it came to me that this would look good as a monochrome image. When a friend of mine suggested I leave the color on the stamens, I tried it and came up with this:
I don't have the camera settings handy for this.

Sunny Day Dahlia.
A little something I was playing with today. The original had dark cloud areas behind it (it's in one of my albums if anyone wants to look) but this one is cheering and well suited to the sunny day we have here.
