The Spiders were busy last night
A sunny misty morning here. My garden is surrounded on two sides by neglected waste land which has become overgrown with gorse in places. All of the gorse is covered in spiders webs.

Thanks James and Peter for comments. I have to assume that the webs are constructed over a long period of time and that they only become visible when heavy dew clings to them.

Good images. These constructions never fail to amaze. Engineering perfection.

I especially like the second image as I find the light and the composition better

I am a fan of #2 shot too...ever since I saw some spider webs shot across a field in a newspaper in Oz, I have been aiming to get a similar shot but it hasn't come...so I delved in something else to photograph while waiting. It may not come at all, but by some miracle, it might, who knows? These shots are good. I suppose you should refrain from tidying up that part of your garden.... for good photographic opportunities...

Thanks guys. It really was an extraordinary sight. Roughly one acre of gorse covered in spiders webs. Sorry, can't resist using the word 'website'.
Izzie, I'm happy to say that this was not actually in my garden but in adjoining wasteland which is a haven for wildlife.
