Hello all. Had to go down to one of our dams to pump some water the other day. And when I took the cover off of the pump, here was this little chap happily in residence on the side of the fuel tank of the pump. He was grasping the rope I use to connect the pump to a fence to cut down on vibrational movement when it is running. Seeing him made me think of that old, well known country and western dirge, " The Yellow Rope of Nexus."
Okay, so it is a terrible pun which rates right up there at the top end of the 'groaner' scale.Well , I thought it was funny.
But thanks for viewing, and for any comments.
Alrighty then, for those still with me... on the count of three, altogether now,...... " There's a Yellow Rose of Texas, that I am going to see..." Oh well, please yourself..

Funny! and the toad is very interesting. Very different in texture and coloring to the frogs we have here.
