I think it's time to expand your comfort zone. I like the capture of the pedal's texture and softness and an almost spiral affect of the background. I think it's a very nice image.

Indeed, it's time for you to expand your comfort zone. The capture of the Daisy is exceptional for the light, colours, tones and beautiful detail.

    Dear David,

Very nice!!!! This is an Osteospermum (African Daisy or Cape Daisy). It is a spring and fall bloomer when the weather is not as hot.

What PP did you do? Is the inner part pink as shown, or is it more a a denim blue? They come in different varieties. Don't be afraid to use less sharpening or use clarity instead.

    Re: Daisy?

Thank's Marie, cheers for the added info

I used lightroom 5 and P/S 6, these are the exact colors, no vibrance or saturation was applied, I used clarity and just a very small amount of U.S.M

Thanks for your help and commenting

Do you not like that song Izzie? Lol, there was a massive spider with gigantic fangs on it and just as I pressed the shutter it jumped off honest!

Very nice job on this one David. It's interesting to see the evenness of your lighting rig over the full area.

    Cheers, Grahame
