    About Sunset

Not far from my place is a lookout called Wild Horse Mountain from where there is a great view of the Glass House Mountains.
These were taken around sunset plus one looking down at the main highway leading north from Brisbane.

    20 minutes before sunset.

That's a nice set Graham. My pick would be the second image with just a tad more detail in the shadows.

Very nice images Graham I would eliminate the road in #1 by cropping and I would crop some of the green in #2 for a better look.

    I would agree with that.

Nice shots Graham, number 1 is my favourite too. I've been meaning to visit that site for ages now but just never seem to get around to it. For photography, it really needs to be early morning or late evening I think.

Here's an edit with a little lighter foreground.

I can see what you mean about the first image Binnur and it would better suit the 1/3 rule but I like the way the foreground trees are lit up by the setting sun.

Yeah Dave morning or evening. It's quite a STEEP 700-750 metre climb on a good concrete surface but take the mozzie repellant. I would have liked to stay for moonrise but the mozzies drove us away after the sun set.

Now I like your edit here, Graham...so much more beautiful. I still like #1 best because of the mood. It feels cold, cool...this one is just as beautiful...especially with the lightening you did here...well done.
