Thread: A riot of colour

    A riot of colour

Took these two days ago at the Botanic garden in Swansea. All taken within a couple of hours of each other. Amazing colours, I thought.

    C+C welcome.

"Tulip in Red mood" is my favourite in the series.

Great shots, Rob, especially both tulip images. Very rich, and great tones at the edges.

    Cheers,

Thanks Rick. Yes I like the last one in particular. Considering it was shot at mid-day on a bright sunny day it's not come out too bad at all. Nice valentine card.

The extreme colour bokeh in #2 is from some very colourful tulip beds behind.

An impressive set of images. A lesson, I suggest, in noting how presentation is also an important element in what we're trying to achieve.

I love the bokeh in all of them. The framing is nice too. They are all great, but I have to go with "Tulip in Red Mode" as my favourite

Thanks, Wendy. Red Mode is rather tasty!
