Am I beginning to sound like an 80s' DJ today...Talking Heads and Simple Minds. I kept things simple with this set so I could concentrate on getting the hang of live view. I am impressed with LV on the 40D and I can see it will help greatly when using manual lenses on this camera.

You got the icon wrong, Steve: it should have been a smile, to go with a joke. These are very cool, especially the first. The spotlight effect on the goblet, and the bright lighting on the liquid (OJ?) are exceptional.

Now back home. Yep, they look good. I think all you guys doing the splash photos are producing amazing stuff. #1 is a twist on water, but all the more eye-catching for that.

Sort of. They have given me two new hearing aids adjusted for my much reduced hearing levels. This version has an on board volume controller and is programmed so that it can block out noise from behind me if I need to. The problem is everything sounds very distorted. We shall have to see what the Doc has to say tomorrow.
