Hi, Shane. We use to say here, in Brazil, that we have the bad habit of start using goods/equipments before reading the manual (at the best we read the quick start guide!). Glad to know we're not alone on this!. Eventually, we get the hang of it, though, and that is what matter!
Wondering to see your long exposure shots! Regards,
Who needs manuals Otavio?![]()
The only shot I am working on from my early morning adventure is here and I would love to get your thoughts on it: Between the Rocks
The others were okay at best but I will let them sit for a bit and then look again to see if I missed anything...
I have not idea how to c/c landscapes. But not that I don't like the others. I do but my eyes/brain says #3 and #4
Bobo, thanks for your feedback. It is important to know that you, as well as some others, chose #3. I think it is because of the subject (the city lights and street). The other images lack it. They are just some rocks. I shot them only to practice this long exposures and because this is the closest beach/rocks to my home, so, a perfect choice for a lazy father/husband on a late friday night!
I liked the results, though, and will look for a stronger subject for the next "night long exposures try"!
Again, thanks for your feedback!
Hi Otávio, I think the reason #3 works well for me is that it has a story to tell. I can picture myself walking towards the town and exploring what it has to offer. With the others, I find myself just standing there. Hope this helps!
