Hi, Shane. We use to say here, in Brazil, that we have the bad habit of start using goods/equipments before reading the manual (at the best we read the quick start guide!). Glad to know we're not alone on this! :). Eventually, we get the hang of it, though, and that is what matter!
Wondering to see your long exposure shots! Regards,
Who needs manuals Otavio? ;)
The only shot I am working on from my early morning adventure is here and I would love to get your thoughts on it: https://www.cambridgeincolour.com/fo...hread35069.htm
The others were okay at best but I will let them sit for a bit and then look again to see if I missed anything...
I have not idea how to c/c landscapes. But not that I don't like the others. I do but my eyes/brain says #3 and #4
Bobo, thanks for your feedback. It is important to know that you, as well as some others, chose #3. I think it is because of the subject (the city lights and street). The other images lack it. They are just some rocks. I shot them only to practice this long exposures and because this is the closest beach/rocks to my home, so, a perfect choice for a lazy father/husband on a late friday night! :)
I liked the results, though, and will look for a stronger subject for the next "night long exposures try"!
Again, thanks for your feedback!
Hi Otávio, I think the reason #3 works well for me is that it has a story to tell. I can picture myself walking towards the town and exploring what it has to offer. With the others, I find myself just standing there. Hope this helps!
