Yes, I agree. This is a very interesting point to be discussed. Sometimes a sunny day wont help us as we expect it to do. And a fast lens tend to work pretty well on overcast day, as the light, although not so intense, is more even over the subjects.

Otavio, the sun is not your friend, and the flash is not your enemy, as shown by these excellent examples!! Bright but overcast days can produce amazing results! Nice work.
