    Well I think you found one Kevin! I find this to be an interesting and appealing image and I do like what you've done in pp.The colours look great.

    Oh and I like the touch of irony with the ladder up against the roof - waiting for someone to use it for much needed repairs

    Thanks, Dave. I originally didn't include the HDR version in the thread, but my wife (who insists she'd never seen HDR before) really liked it and urged (I use a lot of euphemisms) me to include it.

    Delighted you picked up on the ladder. The appreciation of irony is hard to predict.

    The ladder is the second thing that I saw, after the subject of course. It adds a really special touch to the scene.

    It's best to let her believe whatever she wants to believe. The wives do it to husbands all the time and it's about time that we finally caught on to the effectiveness of it.
