They usually prefer the spot in front of the fireplace orheater so it can't be too uncomfortable inside. Nice images.
I like this shot. And I like the title of this thread.
The biggest problem I see is that now I can't get the stinking song out of my head!
I love the shots you share of your dogs. Good that they like the warm spots as it provides you some good natural light.![]()
Glad you enjoy the dog shots, Terri. They provide good opportunities to practice. When outside they are good practice for wildlife shooting. This shot was mostly practice in post processing due the the extreme contrast in the original. This shot is a pseudo HDR of two RAW files processed separately to maximize highlight and shadow recovery and then combined with HDR process.
But the main purpose of this particular photo was to send to the family that we got Maddie from to show them that she is fitting in nicely in our home. She was a bit too much to handle for her original family and we took her on as a rescue. Young GSPs can be a bit overwhelming for people who don't know what to expect and/or aren't in a position to provide them enough exercise and mental stimulation.
I feel like grabbing a pillow and joining them. Great shot of some beautiful GSPs.
