    Wildlife Photography for Seniors

    I like starfish for the same reason I like mushrooms: They move at approximately the same speed I do, and therefore rarely get away. This well-fed seastar attracted my attention because he had staked out a well-defined personal space.

    Wayne, maybe you should have used a bit of a zoom lens, avoid any bending down. Maybe a tad of cropping should be done. It seems the starfish is not in perfect focus, maybe the old eyes should be blamed.
    Oh, at that age you should always use a tripod!

    Think the starfish is either very poisonous or bad tasting as it is not trying any camoflage.
