Christmas Photos - Part II
My niece and nephew were over for Thansgiving and their mom asked me to take a few pics. This photo pretty much sums up the experience.
Enjoy!

Cheese graters and tinfoil, Brian!
I'd say you got the lighting about right.
Very cute kids you got going on there. I can tell the family resemblance. Especially with that funny looking kid on the far camera left!

Hi Brian,
Priceless capture
A little less exposure on their faces, perhaps?
Cheers,

When he reaches the age of capacity, he'll probably sue you for publishing that!
A wonderful capture and one to be treasured.

lol@Terry
Dave, I believe you are correct on the over exposure - This one I only did a color correction and quick sharpening after downsizing for the web
Thanks Donald.
All was not lost though, I did come up with a couple good shots - this one I spent a little more time on in PP.

Now you're talking, Brian.
What a total sweetie (the young lady that is, though I'm sure you are a big sweetheart as well)! Great pose and a great shot.
Am I detecting a slight color cast with the skin tones? Aww, probably just the fact that I'm color blind!
I think your red channel may be clipping a bit.

Hmmm, red channel? Ambient light was tungsten and I was using CTO gels on my flashes, I left things just a tad 'tungsteny' on purpose. Is that what you are seeing?

Re: Christmas Photos - Part II
Yeah. That's probably it, Brian.
After I thought I noticed a slight cast I popped it into ACR to see what the histogram said. Red was banged right and showing some slight overexposure in the camera right cheek and same side of the nose. I thought maybe that and a bit too warm. I brought it down a bit to see what would happen. Could just be my monitor, my lack of good taste, and the fact that I'm blind in one eye and can't see too good out of the other one!
But just to show you how much I know about it, I thought "Tungsteny" was a Villa in Italy!
Its a really great shot Brian. You must be a proud Uncle!

Oh Dave, that took me hours of processing to achieve that look, thanks for noticing.
