    Why would I be worried?

Yesterday I walked 13! I didn't know why I was so tired until I looked up the distance of one of the trails I was walking... I was off by several miles. Now I know why Lucy runs up and hops on the bed when I say we're going on a walk.

I used to have a dog, a sheepdog. Actually it liked Shire horses and herding bulls. But anyway; it used to sit down and refuse to go further unless you turned back.

I even tried to carry it once since the car was only 400 metres away but going back was a mile or more.

It's because of all that flesh to which you've been exposed on the beaches.

Call me a grumpy old man, but I'm finding it more and more questionable as to why we in western societies feel it necessary to expose as much flesh as legally possible in public. I wonder what it is that's lacking in our lives?

We had a German Shepherd-Black Lab mix that would just plop down when she was done. She weighed 120lbs so if Mocha didn't want to walk, Mocha wasn't going to walk. Dogs are so funny.

It very well might be all that flesh! I'm apparently trying to walk all of mine off!

I have no idea, Donald. But geesh... I don't get shocked by much any more, but... my oh my... the stuff I see at the beach. And the tatoos and the places they are coming from. As far as legally possible, according to the signs posted in parking areas there are a whole lot of people in violation of the law... there's not suppose to be profanity either... or offending people... or...

I think it's to allow them to exhibit their tattoos!

The things I saw while walking that distance on the beach makes you guys and your cows look tame. The things I saw hanging out, barely covered, bouncing, jiggling..

Okay, for all of the high falutin' preachifying from the Moral High Ground about Silver Spoons in Mouth and superior Welsh singing, ......though how one manages to sing with a silver spoon lodged in one's oral cavity without coming to an untimely end is another of Life's wonderful mysteries. Though it does rather explain why Welsh choirs sound as they do... as our rather notorious would be politician, Pauline Hansen, was wont to inquire. " Please explain?" I refer to the attached news clipping from this mornings News reports, which no doubt will arrive in Wales by express cow mail later this month. Dear Lucy, it would seem that " You ain't seen nuffin' yet!

Thank you for asking Katy N. Mrs Ucci aka Glenise has moved on to Turkey and will be home at the end of this week, which should give me just about enough time to fire up the vacuum cleaner, dispose of the empties and give the place a quick once over with a duster.

Alright! LOOK! (No - DON'T!) There are limits.....

I'm already all wobbly from my first day with LR! Now, I have to go rinse my eyes out with soap.

That was quite the trip, though! Glad for you, I am, that she'll be back soon.

The Gower is about 25 miles by road from where I live. However... if I go to my local beach I can clearly see the Gower just 2 miles away across the water. I'm just wondering if my 70-200mm lens will give me a close enough view of this scene?

Ah... yeah, I guess I am... it's a side effect of trying to walk as fast as I can away from my mind and the thinking that takes place within it... for some reason... I can't get away from it no matter how fast and far we go. and... I'm still self-conscious about going to the beach in a swimsuit... and for the life of me... I can't figure out why after what I saw this morning.

For some strange reason... this is a much more appealing site than those I saw this morning. These people just have it all out there instead of parts and pieces wiggly, jiggly and coming out from various places.
