    Osprey in my backyard.

C&C welcome! I live 1k from the east coast of Canada on a tidal river so i get lots of Osprey and Bald Eagles perched in the trees around the house. ISO 320 , F6.3 @ 1/1000sec.

You're lucky guy to have such an advantage on your location. Good composition on the shot. A bit off on the focus but still OK.

I was having a hard time with the wind, and i think now i could have gone to ISO 200 F11 @ 1/350 or so, little more DOF might have helped with the focus....but thx for viewing all the same

Chris, nice composition. I will suggest using a single AF point to focus on the eyes, if you are not doing that already. Going down to f/11 gets more of the bird into focus, but also more of the background! In this case, I feel you might actually be better off using a wider opening to blur the background.
