Melbourne's Laneways

I was in the city the other day to get some shots to finalise a DVD I am doing on my home state of Victoria. Here are a couple of shots from one of Melbourne's many laneways.

I like these Peter. I will soon try my hand at doing this type of shooting in Seattle, maybe Pikes Place Market. Thanks for showing these as they give me some inspiration.

I have been working on this DVD for some time now and it has all come together with these final shots. I have ejoyed doing it. I must admit to some surprise, I have put some of my city shots in the market and they are selling really well. I only did these for the DVD but a guy came up to me at the market on Sunday asking specifically about this laneway so hopefully I might sell some of these as well.

I would really like to see some of Seattle.

Thanks Willie, they are a special part of Melbourne's fabric and needed to be included in the DVD. I did enjoy shooting them and was pleased with how they came out.

Shooting in the city will be a rather new venture for me. I am looking forward to expanding knowledge in capturing different subjects. I like how you have captured the mood of the day in these. Seattle can have a lot of atmosphere, I hope I can capture it as well.
