    Hi Robert
very interesting subject matter and composition....it is reminiscent for me of those Devo hats but upside down...do you know the band?

Kay ..... Devo. Was that your era or the kids
OR was it Whip it, Whip it good that you remember.

Nice shot Robert. Did you change the white balance to get the blue effect?

I knew it was a mistake to make band references, like 'mission brown' paint and lime green laminate on the kitchen bench.... I've just shown my age

    Poor Kay!

    Hi Robert

I like the way the light reflects down the lower half of the engines. Unlike Kay, they don't remind me of Devo but make me think they could be costumes for characters in Dr Who. They have a feminine shape - like the dresses of the Victorian era.

    Nice shot!

    Hello,

I didn't know anything about Devo until now. Maybe they are not that famous here. They did not make a tour in germany I believe. Correct me if I am wrong. I'll give their music a try this evening.

I converted the picture originally shot in raw with Adobe Lightroom. The white balance was set to 2500/10 that created the overall blue look. Overall saturation was reduced a little bit also as saturation in the blue channel. Exposure was set to about -2,5 EV. Blackpoint and contrast were also increased.

The picture was shot at the NASA Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

    bye
    Robert
