I think so to. Obviously a difficult subject to capture well, but I think you have made a good job of it. You have placed the bird well in the frame' i.e. it is flying 'into' the picture.
It would be interesting if you were to post some shooting information. What camera body and lens were you using ?
Very interesting shot, Yisehaq. For one thing, shooting a bird on a white background using Evaluative Metering is really a rarity. Normally, the camera meter algorithm will underexpose the shot due to the larger white areas on the frame. Good work, Yisehaq.![]()

Looks very good to me - a nice sharp eye despite the relatively low shutter speed (which gave the slightly blurred wing tips), you should see some of mine(well ya won't 'cos I delete them

Well Dave, a technique that works for me to get the eyes sharp on BOF is panning the shot. If you follow the bird the shutter speed is not that low but ofcourse it will be low for a vertical movement of the wings which will give a dramatic effect. I don't know how smart that is but works for me and you should try it too.
