Good use of architectural framing, Mel. Just one question... is she texting?

No, one of my favorite subjects, "photo of a photographer", and she's a Nikonian.

Is this Nikonian thing some kind of special phenomena? Are there also Canononians and Fujionians? Surely there are Sonyans and Panasonians also out amongst us. What precautions do we take with these "non-alikers?"

I think it's Latin for "Enlightened One" . Yes those others exist, beware of the Pentaxians, they are a pushy bunch in the middle of model photo shoot.

Thanks, everybody, for liking this one. No, Jiro, she wasn't texting. Well, most of my "Nikonian" friends would look at the LCD after every shot. Must be the blur.... Just kidding. No outrage, please.

OK. Now I get it. Hehehe. If she's a fellow photographer, it'd be nicer if you asked her to pose for you on that arched opening. I think this was a spur of the moment shot. You must be doing a lot of practicing on your side. Your shots are really good.

Lovely shot. Love the saturated centre vs the monochromatic frame...very cool!

Probably the picture was on the dark side

Thanks, Jiro. I'll take that as a complement coming from you. I'm a member of a camera club here in Manila and we trade experiences, post processing tricks, tips, and do photowalks at least twice a month. I still consider myself a newbie though, having less than 6 months of hands-on experience.

Regarding the photo, yup, Annie is also a member of our camera club and it was a spur of the moment shot. She took a photo of something and was looking at the LCD display when I saw her perched on the window. Thought she looked so relaxed and natural, lifted my camera, and took this candid shot.

Thanks again and regards to all who veiwed this photo.
