Now the Welsh were used to the threat of imminent alien invasion, wacky religious sects, time travel (I am talking Aberystwyth here) and exploding cottages but when Harkness had a fling with Lanto there was a rising in the valleys....no that sounds all wrong. Yes but the Rangers face paint was authentic enough and I would imagine that Willy Wallace had a lot in common with an Americanised Australian right-wing revisionist historian actor. Long Shanks was portrayed badly, he was a pussy cat really. Indeed it makes you wonder what has been shaking his tree. Although in his defence I would not imagine that Australian and American teaching of history is too biased in our favour.
