Great shot! I wasn't taking many pictures when I lived a mile North of Miramar. I saw them many times overhead, but never went to the field to got these kinds of shots. I regret that, now.

They fly out of Pensacola for many of their shows and over my way, we get the Thunderbirds once every other year. This coming year will be the first year I will go with a good camera and decent lenses. The above shot was done with a Coolpix e5700 P&S and while it did some nice shots (a lot of stuff I've posted on here came from that camera), it didn't have the flexibility I need.

Interesting shot did you try to shoot a little more on the right to have more planes aligned ?

thanks for your reply. That's very difficult to have such scene w/o any disturbing elements. You were lucky on the displayed one
