    17th century Salem, MA

Went walking through Salem yesterday and found a few buildings from the first half of the 17th century tucked behind some from the mid-19th century. This is high-res shot with my OM-1 II, but of course, the high resolution isn't visible here.

Good fine detail and I can't see any distortion.

Would I be correct in assuming the glass was from a later date?

Hard to know. The very thin mullions suggest the window itself is old, but it looks like some panes are new. It would be easier to tell from the inside. The panes with distortion are old, but maybe not original. My house has some panes that have that sort of distortion, and it was built more than 200 years later (1866).
