This UNESCO World Heritage Site is located in the southern part of Delhi, India. Construction was started in the late 1100 CE by the first muslim rulers in India.




The Qutb Minar (a victory tower / minaret) is the main element at this site. It is 72.5 metres (238 ft) tall (just a couple metres (5 ft)) shorter than the Taj Mahal.
