Bird on the light pole
Hello,
I was trying to take a nice picture of a pigeon on a light pole. I'd like to know your sincere opinions about my picture and ways of improving it. =)
This is the one I liked most
But I'd like to add more of the lamp in the picture. As in the photo below, but one problem was that it had too much light in the background and it is a little bit weird. And my position according to the lamp and the bird made things a little harder.
My camera is a Canon Sx20is and at the moment I don't use post-processing because I want to learn the basics with the camera itself first, so if you have any nice advices for what I can do with I have, I'd be thankful =)

Re: Bird on the light pole
Since the real subject is the pidgeon and not the lamp, I would stick with the first image. I cropped it a bit to focus more on the bird and took out the distracting white sky at the top. Other than that, I think it was well shot.

Hello,
Thank you, Leng. It is really better without the white sky =) I'll try to frame better on the next time.
