... Memories of the my country
Hi Daniel,
I do like the hand holding the walnut. It is one of those 'simple' photographs that really make you want to know more about the person, their life , their history.
Cheers, Richard.
Hi Daniel
the worn hand holding the walnut is fascinating in a sad way and the guy with the hat must be a 'character', though I am never quite sure if such shots really do convey the correct character. More at home with the train, which is great...but for the hideous building on the left; probably too much work to remove/substitute, but would have a go if it was mine and I couldn't re-shoot

I like these pictures alot.
My critique however is the focus on the "old man", his beard is sharp but the eyes are out of focus which is a shame as this would have been the winner for me.
Also a portrait crop?
Mark
well well the hand holding the walnut! is quite imaginative, and different frm other such pics the railways track again is quite different and imaginative.......both these pics are quite attractive, and keep the viewer involved the old man in the pic has the power to take over any kind of compostion or framing and throw the photographer into the oblivion the last pic reminds me of many such pics
Ok, Thanks to all apreciate your comment and helper
