Clouds, again! Can't seem to stop photographing them. C&C welcome.

Simon, love the clouds. The bush on the LHS annoy me for some reason. If you got rid of it the picture would be unbalanced in my view. I am waffling a bit. Your choice of B&W is spot on to my mind.
    Cheers Ole

Simon -- excellent shot! The dark face with white hair and teeth sticking out made this image for me.

Love the clouds, Simon. I wonder if it might look a little more dramatic if you dropped the brightness on the land?

Definitely worth capturing. Makes me wonder what happened next. Might be worth just burning down the highlights in the buildings though.

Clouds are fine; but a severe lean to the hill top building.

I quite agree, Greg and John. I've been using Nik Efex for my conversions, but haven't got around to using the control points. I'm a bit scared of them, frankly, but maybe I should bite the bit and figure them out.

Thanks, Maurice, but it's funny you should say that. I took this pic from one of the balconies of the building I work in. Ten or fifteen minutes after taking the pic I went out on that balcony again to see what had happened, and, guess what, the sky was absolutely clear! Not a cloud in sight.

Noted, Geoff, thank you. If I were to do it over or go for a print of this, I'd distort the image to sort that out.
