    Confluence : C&C Welcome

Hi, going forward on my photography venture I stopped and clicked another shot. Can you please review it and let me know what exactly is missing for it to make it much better?

It is an image of Confluence of 2 river Zanskar and Indus and was clicked in Ladakh, India in the afternoon using 8mm Fish Eye lens on Crop Body.

Please provide your views and suggestion with composition, frame, crops.

    Thank You

PS : Please click on the image for lightbox screen view (Highly recommended)

Nicely composed, the midtones are a bit on the dark side.

Thanks a lot for your kind review and suggestion. I have deliberately kept mid tones on a dark side to show mids and lighter mids more prominent. Please suggest.

If you are using Photoshop, then the clarity tool may get you what you want without sacrificing the wonderful detail you have captured.

Good suggestion from Judith, what editing software are you using?

I like it when opened in litebox. I think of it as a vision on the part of the photographer. It looks like the use of a dark red filter that I am a fan of the look of.

Nice detail in the clouds. IMO as composed and processed the image does not draw attention to the different colored waters of the confluence itself. No suggestions on how that could be resolved. I also find the image a bit dark. Enough so to hide detail. Perhaps viewed larger it's not an issue.
