    Graffiti Allowed

    Midtown section of Miami.
    Graffiti Allowed
I shouldn't say allowed, artists are commissioned to create these visions.

Check out the work of David Choe, the worlds highest paid living artist... he was paid US$200 Milllliiiiion for a commissioned mural.

Anyway, a bit to much sky for me, the top third of the image is wasted, could you go a 2.35:1 crop maybe?

I like the colors, very Miami. Are these buildings abandoned? I suppose technically it's not graffiti since it was paid for, I think by definition graffiti is illegal.

I had to google David Choe, turns out he WAS commissioned to do a painting for a startup company called Facebook. He was offered $60,000 or stock, he chose stock. When the company went public and at its IPO it was estimated Choe made $200 million. Not chump change for sure.

    Hi Robbie,

Thanks for info and critique. I like the clouds as an extension of the natural and manmade art.

    Hi Jack,

The buildings were abandoned property about ten years ago, now it's part of a Soho style art renaissance neighborhood. Thanks for commenting.
