I am a bit puzzled by the posted image quality which was stored in the highest possible JPEG quality with no sub-sampling. The reason I am puzzled is that the posted image has some really bad JPEG artifacts:

Did the image have quite a lot of prior processing/saving or was it maybe a basic quality JPEG image out of the camera?
Just curious, not criticizing . .

Sorry Ted, I was just surprised that someone would look at a picture that close up. No offense intended at all. I too noticed that that portion of the shot wasn't 'perfect', but since I've had it happen to me too I figured hey, I'm not the only one.
I hope Jim continues to play with his old cameras and posts pics from them here too. I like to play too.
