    One From the Old Guy

Picked up a Pentax K100D a couple of years ago for nothing and take it out sometimes just to play.
    One from the fall.

    Really Ted?
    400%?
Who looks at photos that way?

Nice shot btw, we don't get colors like that here in So Cal.

    (sigh) . . .

Which part of "Yes, it's at 400% but I could see them at 100% in the posted image." did you not understand, Alan?

Or it is illegal here to post magnified crops to illustrate a point?

Pardon my pique but I've had a few responses elsewhere lately couched in a similarly demeaning tone and I'm getting a bit tired of it.

I am a bit puzzled by the posted image quality which was stored in the highest possible JPEG quality with no sub-sampling. The reason I am puzzled is that the posted image has some really bad JPEG artifacts:

Yes, it's at 400% but I could see them at 100% in the posted image.

Did the image have quite a lot of prior processing/saving or was it maybe a basic quality JPEG image out of the camera?

Just curious, not criticizing . .
Like I said it's an old camera and I just like to play sometimes. Won't play no more with this camera on CIC.

+1 to Ted's comments-- very nice colours and composition. I particularly like the reflections here too.

Assuming that "BTFW" means what I think it means, I am sorry that you have taken offense where none was intended.

Interesting that wind causes JPEG artifacts, but never mind . .

My post was obviously poorly worded in view of Alan's and your responses.

    It will be deleted shortly.

Sorry Ted, I was just surprised that someone would look at a picture that close up. No offense intended at all. I too noticed that that portion of the shot wasn't 'perfect', but since I've had it happen to me too I figured hey, I'm not the only one.

I hope Jim continues to play with his old cameras and posts pics from them here too. I like to play too.
