    Re: Butterfly

Now there's an unusual treatment - but I like it.

I am intrigued by whatever it is perched on though, what is it?

The highlight on the 'pipe' like part above the butterfly might benefit from toning down a little though, just so it doesn't attract as much attention.

    Best regards, Dave

Interesting shot Ashish May I ask how you got that light between the wings?

Great shot! The direction of the lighting allows the structure of the wings to be clearly seen.

Thanks Binnur... This image was taken during a recent photowalk at a nearby butterfly garden. I and my friend Shannon (who is also a CIC member) were working as a team. We decided to backlight the butterfly and he held the remote flash while i took the shot. Since the wings were slightly apart the internals were lit up much brighter than the outer surface. Hope i have been able to explain it right? Cheers!
