    Most of the Bats have been eaten around here. I am going to have to look up a JF fish cake recipe.

    Fish cakes??? I made fish cakes yesterday for dinner and I have some frozen jackfruits in the freezer. I could have tried that...!!! Dang! I should had read this post earlier...

    P.S. Bill was passing by when I said "fish cakes?" so I showed him your shot and read him Grahame's comments about jackfruit fish cakes...apparently he knows about it? Why am I always the last to know???

    I couldn't get the relation between the fish cakes and the jack fruit as they have different tastes, but sometimes opposite tastes make good combinations and obviously this must be one of them. Very nice shot Brian

    Yuk! that smells...!!! I can only find durian at the Asian supermarket here...and they are usually frozen. I thought they are easy to find in Mindanao.

    They are easy to find in M. But we are in the Visayas. But our neighbors Durian tree overhangs our yard and there are 10 - 15 ready to fall.
