    He is a beautiful animal and you caught him perfectly. Just keep him in your area and out of my yard! <chuckle> Deer like to eat the tips out of our young trees and rub their horns on any sapling that is handy, making a mess of the bark and sometimes even killing the tree! <ouch> I never see them in action since this activity always seems to happen during the nighttime hours.

    I have fences around my young trees, and use a deer spray on the tender leaf tips to prevent them from eating them. Works very nicely. Yes, deer are most active during the night hours.
