I was not so comfortable at 6'-4" 280lbs and the boat nowhere designed for my ergonomics (polite word for big butt), but my love of sailing overcame any physical discomfort. Thanks for your generous post, "I'll be back" with more.

Thanks John, I'm in the process of re-editing my RAW files in C1. The colour rendering is one of the features I like so much with C1. I have never used Light Room but have watched a few tutorials. A user in France did amazing things with it, I just happened to land on the C1 square and happy I did as it renders my MF (645) RAW files with wonderful colour.

Hi Izziek, thanks for your compliment, I'm the guy in the red shirt with the cap that doesn't fit! the green thingy on the water is a marker for our crab pot. The guy I have my arm around is the ships cook, I always referred to him as Chef. He was an amazing talent, he had to work in very cramped quarters, despite that he produced culinary magic that had to be beyond five star quality. The Dungeness Crabs we caught were never frozen and the flavour I can taste now in my memory. Oh take me back! Thanks for looking Izziek.

Hi there friend, firstly I would like to congratulate you on the phenomenal success of your post I have never seen such a high number of replies, well deserved.

It was very early in the morning, I'm a very light sleeper and so was up at this my favourite time of day, not a soul was moving, even the crew was still sleeping. Typically at this time of morning the sea was glass smooth, the light was very filtered by nimbus cloud. The sun trying to break through gave an incredible light that unfortunately does not fully replicate in this photo.

I feel somewhat ambivalent about this shot as the focus was not what I intended and seems to vary in the foreground on the same focal plane. It may be my tired old eyes. What prompted the shot was how dramatic the background looked and the inclusion of the foreground I will leave for you to decide what it does or doesn't add. Thank you for looking and commenting

Graham believe me, I know how lucky this all was especially the "Spirit Bear shots. I only wish I could do this every two to three years as my wildlife shooting improves (hopefully) and get even better shots, but more importantly , just being there. I'm afraid my finances and failing health wont allow it. I did it once and got more than I expected, I'm content with that. Thanks for looking and for your comments.
