These two pictures were taken at the border town, Hatta between UAE and Oman. With the sun on the eastern side, the rocks reflected with brilliant colours. Hatta is not vibrant town but the town was borned with a couples of desert natures like the wadi and beautiful barren mountains.
Surely, I would revisit the places in the coming winter where there is flowing stream.

Hi Cksee,
Interesting shots. Can you please tell more about the architecture in the first attachment? The houses have by & large similar structure and same colour. Thats your local administrative laws or they have been built by private builders, so keeping everything same?

Hi Cksee,
This is an interesting landscape. This first shot is quite good with good balance of the forgeground contents and far away hills. It would be
good to see the sunrise or sunset light shed on these buildings. The 2nd shot is a bit mess in the FG.

Cksee - for those of us from greener climates, it is certainly interesting to see a town in such an arid environment. The first, left-hand image is definitely the stronger one compositionally and for interest.

Klickit,
It is indeed very dry over here. Hills are mainly barren and not like in the tropical or NZ. I came from Malaysia and it rains throughout the year but yet we have water rationing. I have been here for more than 3 years but no problem with water for use and drink.
