Helpful Posts: Osprey's were almost wiped out back in the 60's; In those days the only one's I have seen were on Gardner's Is. of Eastern Long Island. Today they are abundant and they are a photographers dream for both amateur and pro alike. Their easy to find; large, slow and not shy plus they are gorgeous . What's not to like .
