Re: It's the things we see.... but don't notice... too often
You've got interesting things/stuffs in your garden...and it is already Spring over there? I am envious...maybe ours will come soon... I love all three of your shots...clear sharp, cuties...the Buddha looks interesting, but what are those little bluey dots hovering around it? The crocus is absolutely beautiful and perfect...the last one is a cutie too...Love them all three shots.

Always interesting to slow down and see the stuff we blithely ignore. Never ceases to amaze me. I often stop to sit or stand in one place for ten minutes, just to see the little details we pass by. Just don't try it in a queue, for some reason it bothers people. Even when you point out the amazing pattern the discarded chewing gum is making.

Great thought, James. And these are nicely done.

Very nicely done.
I like to use this statement - "The things we see but do not see".

Thanks all, for the kind comments...
Izzie, we have always liked to put other interest into the garden to complement? the planting.
The little boy we've had for 10 years or more and was a pot decoration. He's a bit battered and weather beaten, but rather than dispose of him, he now hangs on a miniature Acer. In the winter he becomes much more visible and disappears rather, in the spring, when the leaves appear.
The blue sparkles are a silica sand (coloured) blown from a decorated pot nearby into the Buddha's cubby hole, and just seem to be catching the light. pp has made the blue a bit more intense than real life.. (I hadn't really noticed them till you pointed them out.)
The crocuses seem particularly brilliant this year.. Winter has not been that bad, but we've had quite a lot of mist and murk recently which makes the sun and spring flowers much more welcome...
