    Not so much, however the highlights on the lavender petals could be toned down a bit. Nice effort.

    I think that is because it has nice lines that layer nicely. I took a look for daylight tropical moths but found no pictures of my black and white one. But if feathered antenna are a give away then you should be right.

    Hi Brian
    I can see the beauty in the lovely lines but overall I find it a bit too much in it. The old flax? (woody colored leaves) are taking my eye in all directions.

    As a matter of fact, Buddy Holley was born and raised in Lubbock. He graduated from Lubbock High School before his music career took off in his tragically short life time. I have a very good friend who knows a ton about the music business, and he is convinced that had Buddy Holley and Richie Valens not died in that plane crash the "British Invasion of the 60's may not have happened.

    Below is a snap shot of Holley's grave in the Lubbock Cemetery.

    Fallen Black Bamboo leaves rather than flax. It would have changed the whole shot to take them out. I see them as framing the flowers and drawing my eyes in... but I am a little strange.
