Very nice shot, Kim. And +1 to Richard's comments too. Content aware is a nice reminder that you can move objects within the same frame. I've done it before but with so many features of Photoshop, some things got shelved at the back of the mind when not used for quite a while.

And yes, Binnur, I've the same difficulty posting yesterday morning -- but it wasn't the fault of anyone. It was mine. I forgot to turn off the automatic upgrading of Windows (after my big format C recently) and my computer decided to reboot right in the middle of my post. It brought me back to the same area of CiC where I was though my message was gone. I decided to just write a short one-sentence response instead of a blow-by-blow C&C of the post I was responding to.

Kim, I forgot to say that IMO the tone of the greens is a bit strong in your crop. Actually I like that color nothing wrong with it but it makes the dog less noticeable because the green area is big in the frame. If you reduce the hue and luminance (not saturation) of greens with HSL sliders it might help. I'm sure you can find the best balance by trying different amounts, it is personal preference anyway. You can also try adding some contrast to the dog selectively to make it more noticeable. I do my adjustments selectively by using layers in PS CC and that's why I may not be very helpful for edits in LR. But what I'm trying to say is that , the little dog needs some standing out

I think this is what the image needed Did you do it with move tool Matt ? It would be useful for all of us if you could explain how you did it.

PS. I managed to do it with the move tool in PS already .I just selected the dog and moved it where I wanted. So easy

Yes I used the content-aware move tool in Photoshop CS6, its really easy to use. Obviously you can only move it so far or the image becomes too out of perspective.

The video link Richard posted explains it perfectly (and its only 3 minutes or so long.)
