    Rural Portraits

Never tried portraits before. Looking at all the fantastic images posted here I just knew I was not up the standard to be trying for people portraits. Anyway these models want too much money for their modelling fees and have all these perk conditions written into their releases.
So, I thought I would try something simpler to start with. And since I don't have a whizz bang studio and all the bells and whistles, such as lighting, silver reflectors and stuff like that which seem to be essential accoutrements, my model had to be happy with an out door setting... in the nearest paddock and a handful of lucerne hay as a posing fee. Okay! Okay! So I am total Cheapskate! Oh, yes, for the record. The model's name is Sam.

OK, el cheapo...who doesn't want free models...she is pretty cute I should say....curly hair and all. I like her pose in #1, very professional indeed. The leaves up the top of her head needed to be cloned out a little and in #2, what a beauty this one is --!! the pose is OK, like it had been planned just for you and very funky with the hay in her mouth too...(and I bet ya, she is not asking for too much payment either...) Good shots.

My problem is with models eating on the job. Shouldn't be allowed!

    +1 to Izzie's comments.

But is that a Samantha or a Samuel?

I trust nobody on this forum would even think of being so un PC that they could mention the fact that you maybe taking advantage of a dumb blond.

I wasn't expecting such a model at all. I loved #1, very good posture and he/she is beautiful.

Thank you all for taking the time to feed back such nice and helpful comments. This is very much appreciated. Izzie, I did wonder about cloning out the 'mistletoe' over Sam's head in #1. I initially thought it sort of hid the boring background a bit. But I think you are right. It should have been cloned out.
And for all those who asked. It is just Sam and he is a male. We have a big black cross sheep, Bruno, who has figured on this site yonks ago. We were a bit concerned that he was lonely and so we recently got him a couple of mates, Sam and Alf. They have all bonded nicely. In fact quite quickly Alf and Sam have gravitated from paddock mob sheep into docile pets who will come running to be hand fed treats such as Marie Biscuits, Bellaveetas and other expensive goodies. They even get expensive Italian bruscetti, which I might add, Mrs Ucci has forbidden to me, on the grounds that they are for her 'boys!" Bloody spoiled sheep!
And Paul, he may be blond but Sam has lots of street smarts in sucking up for goodies.

I'm delighted to hear Bruno is still around. I was worried when I saw Sam, thinking, " Has something happened to Bruno?" and was frightened to ask.

So that means you're now 4th in the household pecking order!

You have just confirmed my worst fears - an absolute stereo type - you should stay away from the Bondi stock sales.....

Just to put Donald's mind at ease. Here is Bruno, fat as a bush pig, with his two offsiders, Alf and Sam, who are also thriving.
And me, number four on the pecking order? Donald, you have to be joking. No such luck, not even in my wildest dreams. See, there are these two little Jack Russells, Bill and Possum. And then there is Glen's big baby, Bonny, her pet Aberdeen Angus. I follow on from there, at the moment.

I think they did a very good job of posing Ken but I'd sack the make up artist for not brushing them off properly fist.
