Yes the maintenance lavished on the invaluable glassware was breathtakingly distracting.

I am very impressed. Not so much that you thought of Donald (that's the easy bit) but that you found the thread again and could give us a link to follow.

I simply conducted a search of "Donald" using the advanced method that allowed me to confine the search to thread titles and to threads started by me.

Just catching up after being out all day yesterday.

Thank you. You flatter and honour me. And I keep very much to the mantra that if I can learn how to do it, then anyone can.

The important thing is, I think, that we be as good as we can be at conveying, in the our images, the world as we see it, whether it's landscapes, street scenes, wine bottles, etc.

I can add a me too. A few of my pictures of vines etc. taken in France had in mind both Donald and Mike - thankfully they appreciated the good wine region I was in, so the thoughts were not wasted. It does seem that wine is a theme though................

As if there is another worthwhile theme? Nah. Couldn't be.
