Deserted Beach - late October (series) C&C welcomed

I guess it was a deserted kind of day based on my other post. Have missed taking photos recently so headed out for some R&R; taking pics always puts a smile on my face.

    Hi Kim,

Just to say that I adore the 1st image. Especially beautiful to me because of the gorgeous sky and all the upper most gulls soaring towards the sky. (#2 while nice pales in comparison to the first image) Beautiful!

I also like the 4th image. Beautifully composed/gorgeous colours. And the 3rd but the sky and the gulls in the 1st image are just extra special to me.

Thank you so much for sharing your detailed thoughts Christina. I really appreciate it.

The 1st is my favorite too - I knew it the second I caught it. :-)

Hello Kim: I agree that the first shot has that fabulous sky and cloud pattern which gives the image a lot of depth. They all convey the feeling of a deserted beach, but Number 1 is the standout of the bunch. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice shots Kim I especially like the composition in #4. Very nice clouds in #1.

Hmmm...I like #1 but #3 and #4 is nice to my eyes...I like the perspective of #4 a lot, the lines on the sand easily led the eyes to the structure at the end (top) of the shot. #3 for its potential for improvement -- if the little sticking electrical poles were removed, but then I will not ask you to do that. It is not my shot. The exposure for me is just right on and the view is great...a nice place to sit down on the rocks and stare at the expanse of the sea. It is nice to be able to find a place like this and get lost in my own thoughts....

All beautiful shots, Kim...each one has its own separate reason to like...

Thanks. I didn't mind the pole, but I will consider removing it.

I needed this view yesterday Izzie - I came home feeling refreshed and invigorated. I now have one on my work computer to remind me. Thanks for commenting.
