beautifully done William.
You can't beat free backgrounds William for that natural look. Out of curiosity was there a window between flower and background?
For inspiration and ideas Google Orchid and look at the 'images'.
Grahame
Nicely captured.
nicely done Wm. Nice balance FG to BG.
William...if you physically tip the pot a little bit to the left and take your shot, you will get the stem at the corner of your frame or you can do it from left to right for the aesthetic shot of it. Or shoot wide, then rotate...This is absolutely a beautiful flower. Very colourful.
Patio door was open Grahame...I did check-out other images.
Izzie, there was some cheating done here...3 flowers, all on different sides of the stem.
Had to rotate the vase for three shots and blend them together, tried tilting it more
than I already have but didn't care for the look.![]()
Much better BG than previously. It's hard to beat Mother Nature.
Absolutely beautiful! The natural background is gorgeous.
Aside I see a faint line in the lower right just above the first flower.
Oops...I knew that...yeah right!Aside I see a faint line in the lower right just above the first flower![]()
Yowza! Huge improvement!
Consider making photos of various outdoor backgrounds so you can combine them later with various subjects. If you do, just make sure the light in the background makes sense in context of the light on the subject and vice versa.
Very ingenious! Love the result, never dreamed it was more than one image!![]()
Much better with this background.
Very nice William!
