Interesting image. Did you deliberately blur the background to focus on the wire (if that is what it is)? For me it is a bit too much, but that is very subjective.

yeah, it's barbed wire. the vignette comes from PP.

I too was thinking that was a strange shadow as if there is a lateral light source.
